Privacy policy

This policy covers people who use webing.ai to build a site: you, the owner. Visitors to a site built on webing.ai are covered by the privacy notice on that site's own privacy page.

Your email address, to sign you in.

What you give us to build your site: your business's name, contact details, answers, products, services, prices, photos, logo and the files you upload.

If you start your site from an Instagram account: what any visitor to the account can see, namely its name, bio, links, profile picture and latest posts with their pictures. We read them once, when you ask, and keep what becomes part of your site.

What your customers send through your site (their name, phone number, and what they order, book or ask), which we keep for you in your inbox.

And the technical records any website keeps, such as the network address a request came from, kept by our host for a short time.

To build, host and run your site; to send you sign-in codes and an email for each new order, booking or message; and to fix what breaks. We don't sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone but the services named below.

To write your site's words, read your files and make the changes you ask for in the editor, we send what's needed (your answers, your items, the files you ask us to read) to Anthropic, the maker of Claude, in the United States. Their commercial terms say data sent through their API isn't used to train their models.

Five services, only to run webing.ai: Supabase for our database, sign-in and file storage, in Ireland in the EU; Vercel for hosting; Anthropic for AI, as above; SendGrid for email; and Apify, to read a public Instagram account when you start your site from one. Some of them are in the United States, so your information may be processed there.

Only what the service needs to work: cookies that keep you signed in, and one for each site you start, so you can come back to it before signing in. No advertising or tracking cookies. Sites built on webing.ai count visits without cookies.

For as long as your site exists. Deleting a site from its settings deletes its content, its files and its inbox. Drafts you started are kept so you can finish them; you can ask us to delete them, or your account.

You can see, correct and download your data in your dashboard, and delete your sites there. For anything else, such as a copy of what we hold, a correction or deleting your account, write to hello@webing.ai and we'll answer within 30 days.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email you before it takes effect.
